Default GTX or G11 Pro

i am building up my HB cyclone-s for vintage TA racing. this car car is basically a low budget car. i am looking to see which esc to install, Novak GTX or Tekin G11 pro. i like them both. i have had experience with the G11. but not with the GTX. which would be more user friendly. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you want tons of punch go with the G11 Pro One of the best brushed speed controls I've ever used

i was looking on stormer hobbies and novak. the G11 is $60. and the GTX remanufactured is $70. i spoke with customer service about the difference, and they said they were basically equal. i'm still debating....

Remember the saying? Better to go with the Devil you know than the Devil you don't know. Go Tekin.

I've run both, and the Tekin is the most bullet proof and easy to set up that there is.

And for $60 nothing better to be had new. Customer Service is just that as well.

Not an employee nor sponsored racer ... for what that is worth.

thanks for all of your suggestions. the cars that we race in vintage TA class are low budget, so we are trying to keep everyone equal (same power and speed) so it will be more competitive. the votes for Tekin are unanimous! i'll be purchasing the G11 pro.

The G11Pro may not be the newest ESC Tekin have made, but it has plenty of tunability, the range of "feel" it gives a motor is great.

I've upgraded to the FX units on my brushed cars, and with the Hot wire, very easy to program and can we say "Small & Lite".

But I think the thread was started with the idea to keep costs down.
