The cell look good, but what about getting a saddle pack approved then you can buy one saddle pack and split.
Much better cost saving.

Looks like a fine product and I'm please to see major manufacturers stepping up with a 1s.
But. It's been my experience that once a LiPo gets to 5000+ mAh, it's additional weight begins to offset any gain in performance over, say a 4400.
I'm basing this comment on my perspective of acceleration only in the drag racing arena. On-road road course guys and gals have to balance off the extra run time it'll offer.
Not many folks out there drag racing a 1s. Just offering up the weight card as a consideration in the decision-making process. That said, whatever it weighs, it still probably comes in lighter that a 4 x NiCd/NiMh round cell pack.
My thoughts.
