repairing carbon chassis

You can try filling up deep dents and small missing bits of layer with clear CA, then sand it flat and smooth when it dries.

you could probably use some jb weld to fill the gaps. It wouldnt look quite as good but it should be realy strong just make shure you clean and rough up the area. I have used it to fix dog bones, arms and even a nitro engine block.

Re: repairing carbon chassis
Try using a fibreglass patch. You can purchase a kit for around A$20 from a hardware that includes the resin, hardener and fibreglass cloth.
Make sure you use gloves also as messy stuff to work with.
Once dry you can sand back to a reasonably smooth finish and will be much stronger than using an epoxy glue. You can even paint if needed.
