The front c-hubs from my TC3 fit right in-place on my XXX-s, does that mean that some XXX-S parts where cloned from the TC3...LOL

I'm not argueing that the parts won't interchange, but if Tamiya did use the RS4 as a baseline they suceeded in building a much more competent car. But if you remember the origional RS4 was exactly like the 4-tec in suspension, but used at least a gearbox in the front. Then another car came out and suddenly HPI changed to the 2 belt/pulley system..... I don't remember what the car was, but I know there was one...LOL

Besides HPI can't come up with one good idea to save their ___es...LOL

And the TA04 was based on the 414x......LOL

True the TA-04 is the production version of the 414x.

But the 414X prototype Pro2 suspension parts.

Still I say TB Evo II over TA-04. Heck even Tamiya says so. When RCCA did the roudn up Tamiya sent the TB Evo not the TA-04 or the 414x!

I think we all agree here Given the choice of TC3 or flexy flyer, get the TC3!

Default Battery straps

Hyperforance, are you using the XRay battery hold-down on there? Because I noticed the purple straps off to the side, and was wondering what you're using in its' place. The velcro straps are somwhat of a pain.

Default battery straps

i'm using an o-ring system like the Calandra Carpet Knife 1/12th scale cars. it uses a few Associated parts and some o-rings from the hardware store, it works better than the velvo straps (junk) and is easier than converting to the x-ray parts

impact, yep, paper wieght, my wife swears she's gonna throw it out cause its ugly

Default here's a pic

here is a pic of the o-ring battery strap conversion. you'll need
4: assocaited 12l "long stand-offs"
8: 4-40 x 1/2 screws
4: 1/4 to 5/16 finishing washers (hardware store)
4: meduim sized o-rings (hardware store) take the car with you to test different o-ring sizes
