The springs are black oxided. The reason we did this was to eliminate the inconsistencies with powder coating. Plus it makes the car have a cleaner look.
Keep the diff rings in. You can take out the thrust bearing and just place some washers in the spool.

Understood.
Haven't seen any reference to them lately; but, are the dimpled diff rings going to be available for the spool setup soon?
Thanks again.

We are coming out with something a bit different. More of a rulon disk that you will glue to your gear. We have been testing them and they have been working great.

Going to work...Sounds like you are already there.

This is Todd's thread but I will take a stab at it.....
Bump steer is movement of the tires (toe in or toe out) as the shocks compress. Bump out will give more entrance steering meaning the tires will toe out as the shocks compress.
Bump in will do the opposite and smooth out the steering into a corner.......thats the way I understand it at least.

question...
Hodge,
I forgot to ask you last Sunday afternoon when I looked at your diffs', but when are the Spintek's going to be available in the States?????
aslo, will this allow me to eliminate the use of my Novak Smart Tray as well as my Integy 30amp Discharger???? (fingers crossed)
just wanted to know, and I too jumped on the Losi bandwagon, and I am going to get rid of my "BD" and give the Losi a try (Scotty talked me into it....)

Randy- Get that car built!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the Spintek I should have them by the middle of the month, if the ETA is correct. Let me know how many you want.

Hi Todd!
Just got my JRX-S. What can I do to get more off-power steering. My car has a lot of on-power but barely has the opposite. Thanks.
