Tire truer for 12th?

Do the manual tire truer work as well as the automatic ones. I want to get a truer but I dont wanna break the bank

The manual ones work fine, just more time consuming. As for breaking the bank, look for a used Hudy Automatic truer. They are work horses and can be had for hundreds less than a new one. They are very durable and repairable, as well as still supported by Hudy, unlike a Corally, Integy, or Ofna unit.
