Shoot there are tons of good rally type cars. Not everyone made a rally car but there are several good options that are used that work well. Losi XXX-s is a good one. It has a nice sealed driveline. You can get an older HPI RS4 in a tub chassis with a dust cover, but the covers are hard to find so I hear. Lots of people convert Associated TC3s and Tamiya TT-01s. I personally run a rally weapon by Losi but you almost have to have a spare incase something breaks. I'm not sure what new ones are out. Anyone else got any more ideas?

All 4wd touring cars can be used as rally cars by changing tires and adding ride height.

The real challenge with rally cars is where to run them. The typical 1/10 or 1/8 off-road track isn't designed with rally cars in mind. The large jumps and big ruts aren't rally friendly. If you have a rally friendly place to run your car, then most 4wd vehicles should be good.
