TC5 V MI3

I currently own an MI3 with a nice collection of spares. The surface that i race on varies between high grip tarmac, wood, carpet and very low grip tarmac and I race rubber tyres.I have found a very good deal on a brand new TC5R and am wondering if I should take it.Can anybody give any advice and reasons as to which car I should take?

Tc5r without a doubt..

Why??

 because its cheap and easy to setup

nm6978 07-06-2009 11:22 AM

How is it easier to setup? What about the strength of the parts (better or worse than MI3)?

I asked the same ? a few days ago . http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...nions-tcs.html . The answer i got is they seem to be pretty equal in performance & durability . Everyone seems to have there favorite & will tell you to get that one. Local support in your area should be a deciding factor as well .

there you go. You'll get everybodies opinion, till the end of time. But it only matters at the track. Besides, it has a lot more to do with driving skill and setup, than the actual car itself.

From what i have seen in the BST forum here . Somewere between $250 -$275 seems to be what most are going for depending on condition.

Basically, you don't need to have a hop-ups for the TC5R or F version, Box stock is perfect!:tire:
It's all depends on your driving skill, set ups and track condition:tire:

maybe a spare of arms and C hubs will do, if in case you crash or hit something hard.:D
