I just got back from the track, late day.

I am having huge problems with both my cars, pretty much expected after not practicing or anything for the race! My brushless car is dialed for 4 minutes and then once the tires gum up from the foam on the track, it's nothing but traction rolling. Foam car isn't much better.

Anyway, the race itself has been going great, aside from some problems with the track's power supply. One heat was lost mid-race and had to be re-run at the end of the round, and that didn't end until after 10:30 local time. Practice opens up at 7 AM tomorrow so it's going to be an even longer day then!

Results from round one are a few posts back in this thread (in between the photos) and results from round 2 are forthcoming.

The traction today stayed fairly consistant, in my mind at least. I wasn't having traction rolling issues during either heat, and I am still running my weekly Trackside setup. The only change I have really made to the car was swapping in a new servo.

I have a picture of the Novak Smart Tray, and will post it here in a minute.

Novak will have a wall power supply with it, and street price will be around $70-80.

Yes, Everyone runs the same track, and yes, 19turn is running foams.

Nexus - Nice pictures, but they are huge man! If you get a chance, can you edit your posts to link to the images instead of having them load. It took quite a long time for me to load, and I know others at the track said the same thing.
