how does this unit work? does it allow you to move the wheel on the xy axis or universal? when put in desired position, is it fixed or will it move with your wrist without having to adjust-fasten everytime u change it?

also a ko ad in rc world(jp) had a steering wheel on the accesories section that was for the helios, it looks the same as the stock one, whats the difference?

I was wondering what is the polarity of the charge jacks on the transmitters? I looked through my Mars R instruction manual and it doesn't have the diagram any where. I want to used rechargable batteries in my TX. I figured the helios and mars r jacks would be the same.

The extension unit is an add on that lowers the wheel about 1.5". It allows you to rotate in the x-axis 0-45 degrees. You adjust it by loosening a 3mm bolt and tighten.

You won't see a lot of photos of in magazines because it looks a little strange with it on, but it feels very comfortable.

To put it on, you have to remove the wheel and unplug it from the circuit board, route the wires through the extension, then mount extension, then put the wheel on the extension.

As far as the wheel in the accessory list, it's probably a replacement wheel.

does the futaba 9550 servo worke with the helios in Advanced HSR 2channel mode ?

Ok, just got mine couple of days ago. I do have a slight problem with it that I'm not sure whether it's normal or not. When I have the radio on for awhile, the FM transmitter module gets real hot. I don't recall my Type 2000R ever did that. Anyone?

Hey. Going to use it for a club race this weekend, so far it is the most comfortable radio I've ever held. The 2000R was awesome, but this one is better (feel-wise). I got the drop down wheels and all the bling bling screws and gold wheels, looks crazy good. I'll post pic when I get home.

karting is going well! In August there'll be a regionals street race, that will be awesome! Looking forward to that weekend.

Hey John, here are the pics. The only thing I have to say it should have come with the Helios stock is the drop down unit, that's a must have, and it would have been nice if they put the gold stuff on there, in comparison the stock wheel is a bit cheesy IMO.
