Try this: http://www.jrradios.com/ProdInfo/Files/Z1_manual.pdf

This is the JR Z-1 manual but they say it is the same stuff rebadged except this has synthesized module and receiver (I don't know for sure I'm just planning to buy one)

Default Receiver Compatibility

Can anyone confirm if this receiver will work with a KO Mars Ex-1?

Not sure FK. I just got my Helios and tried something similar however. I am replacing an XR3 pro and the following worked.

I left my 310 receivers in the cars and set thier pots to channel 72. Then I placed a 72 crystal in the Helios 75 mhz module. I got perfect reception in the "place the car on the p-dub stand and walk as far away as possible and see if you get a glitch test."

I saw someone ask if this would work a few pages back and wasn't sure if anyone answered it. Just an FYI.

A question however. I have a 12L4 and an RDX. I have 1 302 receiver. Which car would y'all preferr to have the faster reponse time in? Does it really matter? THX

From what I heard from Novak, the JR version will not because of tolerance issues. It seems there used to be a KO version of the XXL, but it has been discontinued for some time. Guess I'll just have to get another expensive KO receiver

is the transfer rate in the helios faster than my old precious ex-1? Reason i'm asking is because i put a spektrum system in my precious, and am planning to buy a helios and put a spektrum in that. is the transfer rate determined in the modules or in the actual transmitter? I hope this question is clear to you guys.

I got this of the KO web site. Does any-one know what speed to set the Helios to so it can talk to the KR-297FZ receiver and were is it in programming?

Q. Will my new EX-10 Helios work with my older receivers?
A. Yes, but you will have to set the radio to the correct speed setting for the receiver being used.

Thanks,
E

There is a switch under the module, but that is about as much as I can tell you. I am using Spektrum and had no reason to mess with it.
