I don't think there are any 5000 40c lipos with inboard plugs made yet, the highest I have seen is the SMC 4700 40c.

Goingfast, SMC makes a good 4700mah 40C lipo with inboard plugs. We have 2 of them left in stock.

i think its due to teh banana type plugs nat being able to handle teh current loads with these high rated batteries.
I have seen plenty batteries using corally/banana type plugs either melt the female plugs or unsolder themselves from the heat.
Havent seen it happen with a deans type battery.

Unless you are racing at an EFRA sanctioned event, try to avoid packs with banana jacks. I run the Thunder Power Pro Race 5000 40C packs. I only need one pack per car. I just top it off every two rounds with a 5 amp balance charge. Hope this helps.

I would think that the corally 4mm banana jacks would allow more current than a Deans cause there is more surface area. What's the deal?
