Any1 using Kose Motor Brush Alignment tool?

Imo the best alignment tool is a pair of racing brushes(I use old race brushes that have only just lost there serrations) cut them into to a rectangle and run the motor with them installed for a few seconds. Adjust the hoods till the brushes wear perfectly in the middle.
