I've been using an RDX for about 3 years already. And I spent the same on parts as the car when I got that as well.

I've ordered the alloy bearing holders

thats a tenth with a setup that i feel i can make better with some time. the phi 09 has a ton of potential over the phi07 i have yet to play with pin height diff settings and such. i also feel that when the straight arms become available the car is only going to get even faster. a tenth a lap in a race is alot in a 6 min race its almost a lap.

off hand, what is so much different from the 07/08 phi to the 09? i saw the top deck is now top mounted to easily accept lipos(awesome) but what else? i saw all those holes on the bottom of the chassis to move the arms around i think...for wheelbase?

this was my first year racing and the phi has treated me well, i just didnt know if picking up an 09 would be a good idea or not. there was a nice one for sale for 275 with a few spares. seemed like a decent deal

thats a great deal. all the nice aluminum you have on the phi 07 will transfer onto the 09. if you look closely the pins are closer to the bulkheads. the diffs have been moved and the motor and battery have been moved back.
the other holes in the chassis is for running straight or swept arms.

What do you mean? Are they bringing out new arms?
