Try full turbo and about 20 boost. Play and add more time delay as its needed. And about 10 degress on the can.

I'm running the 2.0 My final drive ratio is between 5.1 and 5.5. Zero on the motor, full turbo and timing. I come off cool like 140 or so on the the present layout. Should have finished 4th in the A last week but friend and arch rival The Teacher kind of passed me using my passenger side door to get by.

i have been running several different bodies. what i like is. 1/10 RTB GBS (Rubber Tire) - Clear Body - #10224

mazda 6, mazda speed 6, ltc-r rubber tire body. all work very well depends on how much traction you have. mazda 6 gives leat amount of traction. then speed 6 and ltc-r medium traction. and the parma body gives the most grip. have done testing on all the bodies back to back. jeremy

Hi guys,

I've just order a lipo spec phi 09.. will be a bit of an upgrade from my RDX

I just had a question about running a diff in the front. I see you have to turn the bearing holders around and I think I read earlier that people were having the bearings fall out, so do I've ordered the bearing clips, but do they fit into the plastic bearing holders or do I need to get the alloy ones?

cheers

correct if you run a spool or diff you need to get the alloy bearing holders and the clips. there is no groove in the plastic holders to seat the clips. in my car i have the alloy up front and the plastic in the rear. i went with the spool up front and picked up .2 sec. a lap over a one-way. are you running rubber or foam tires?? why a diff over a one-way or spool?? i posted my current setup a page or two back. car is fast and easy to drive. spool or one-way work very well in that setup. jeremy

In NZ we run foams on tarmac so picking a set is hard, I find the spool is just as good but increases tyre wear, so I tend to run a diff on club days.

What are the carpet spec phi09s coming with then, do they have the alloy holders?

even more expense, I spend more than the price of the car on parts already (tuning and spares)

So how do the bearings stay in with a diff in there on the US spec ones?

The bearings dont hold in when running a spool or diff, they are pushed in and will fall out first run.

I put a drop of CA glue in the holder and then pushed the bearings in and that seems to have worked well.
