NT had a Cup Racer last year (in spite of me telling him they were a POS)

He gave up after a few rounds because.... "This thing is a POS!"

Yeah, funny that....

He does have a VMII now.

Have had an ABC Genetic, great car when used with silver can motors, many people i know had the same issue i've had: the chassis crack's very easily.
Not to compare with the VM2. Completely different cars.

Has the Fujin 211GO disappeared from planet earth as well ???

I might rethink making a Mini 4wd from an old Xray 08.

Tamiyas M Four has hit the HK shops, with a price that is still pretty high, but not as bad as it first looked.

By the way, it's also hit the rc-mini workshop, and our full review will be up soonish...with xmas in the way it might take a bit longer than usual..

Shhhhh!!

Yup - the Cup Racer struggled with life really. It looked like it was a well thought out car etc. But it broke 'odd' parts that I wouldn't usually break on any other car. But worst of all, I just couldn't get it to handle on our outdoor track.

I went looking for a Fujin211GO - but pricewise they were way out the league when compared against the VMII.

So - I have a lovely VMII PRO sitting in the box waiting for me to get it together!

I've got 3 weeks to build it before race day (Nite!)

Ok now I know 2 people looking for a VMII kit.

The Cup Racer can be made to run well. Mine runs good. You just need to get an Exotek chassis so everything isn't hanging off the top deck and can hold the battery in place. And use some other company's shocks. And double up the front suspension mount. And glue the wheelnuts inside the axle cup. And shave the plastic spurgear cover so the screws are flush. And get an alloy front center shaft cup. And stock up on a boat load of gear diff drive cups....and.....

Hey it's better than the Switch.

Fujin is hard to get also. I've looked. Found one place on EBay selling for something like $295 USD.

Broke "odd" parts you say? Like shock shafts? Broke a rear after clipping a corner with the front of the car.
