Default To all racers in the UK: please read...

Hello all, I'm going to be headed across the pond in a few months, and was looking to pick up some rc stuff not available here in the states. I was wondering what is popular over there, I'll be in the London area, for the 2nd time in my life, and just looking for general things i should pick up while there. also, if anyone knows of a good hobby shop in the london area, I would be greatly appreciative.

Yeah, You won't believe the prices they charge in the UK for everything, leave alone RC gear. You WILL find Items not available in the U.S. but be prepared to PAY for them.

Have a good trip..

12th is fairly big alot of people like it but it could still be hard to find somewhere to race

as an example of prices
matched cells (6) £60
yokomo sd £270-£280

who needs a protrack when you have a GFX? I'm very pleased with the GFX, and besides, i have yet to see a protrak charger.

thats a good idea ,you'd have to order it in advance as they are not distributed in the model shops , available from protrack only
