Default Orion 17.5 problem

I just received a used Orion 17.5 2008. It seems to work, but it makes a lot of noise and does not run very smooth. I think it could be a bent rotor, but I am not sure. Anyone experienced this? I opened the can to look for foreign objects, and I see what looks like some scratches on the stacks inside. But no debris or anything.

I got most of the noise to go away by adjusting the sensor board. I guess the rotor was hitting a sensor or the board. It still runs kinda noisy, but I will see what happens when I get it in the car.

Bad Bearings???

I don't think the rotor would bend very easily. Have you contacted the seller to find out whats up?
