Corse R do u pay attetion at all to results that Hara can do with his Pro 3? He got third at Japan Nationals with a car that u say sucks (Yes I know Hara's car wasnt even close to the kit car...thats because of his sponsor plus HB and HPI are owned by the same guy). Seriously though Hara and Umino will be at the top because HB/Orion will let Hara and Umino burn up to 150 sets of tires before the worlds. So as u stated about who ever has the most pratice on the tire will do well. Plus look at the AE and Losi's teams. They are mainly made up of both on road and off road drivers. So both teams are going to be rnning and testing on both types of cars, while Hara and Umino only have to worry about the Touring Car. I am not saying that Losi or AE have any on raod only drivers. But I doubt they are going to foot a bill equal to Hara and Umino will ring up before the Worlds. Because they both need to worry about the Off Road worlds that are in the same trip. I expect Hara and Umino to do very well because they will have alot more pratice on the tires then any other team out there.
Anyways thats my .02 cents (how do u do the cent mark?)
Stefan - All of those guys that you have listed are very capable of winning the worlds. But my point is that Hara and Umino will have quite a few more legs under them because they will have more tire testing between the two of them then probably most of them combined simply because HPI and Orion will foot the bill for them.
TK:IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'm not so sure..... I mean even with the aparent advantage of being sponsored by the tire provider, I don't think it will be enough to push Hara and his Pro3 across the line of some of the other guys out there right now. Yes Hara has put together some good showings, but........
Anyway, everyone knows what the tire will be used now, so they can practice with them. So, I'm not so sure it will be that big of an advantage anyway.
