Default Horizon Hobby Service - Props to them!

Wanted to share a good story about a GM V12xc ESC that I had purchased from someone locally second hand. The esc worked great for a few weekends then stopped working. It would smoke when hooked up.

I sent it in to Horizon Hobby Service and today I received a box from them. They had replaced the ESC with the SX12 (the v12xc had been discontinued). The best part. I didn't pay a thing.

To recap:
1. Bought V12xc second hand (read NO RECEIPT)
2. It broke
3. Sent it in
4. Received NEW updated model
5. Didn't pay anything

I've dealt with LRP and Novak support before. I paid $60+ for Novak to send me back a remanufacturered Novak C2 that had the same problem I sent the first one in for.

I'll definately purchase GM products in the future!

I'll 3rd that.

But ill add that its Horizon and not GM thats providing great service or should i say product?

I was in the same boat 2 years ago DR-

-smoked running stock after 6 months
-sent to horizon
-received latest model V12xc as it was at the time
-free no charge

GM seems to have some issues with there ESC's. I have seen locally at the track about 4 v12s smoke and a handful of v4s

No BS just great warranty service. More then i can say for Trinity who's taken 4 months to replace my 1 day old P2k2 motor that had a loose magnet. (years ago trinity was fast) I have been told its in the mail but have yet to see it.
