hey
i was wondering how you plug in fans that you put in ur car to keep it cooler???
ive made my own out of a very small computer fan ( like 2-2.5cm square) and i can put a receiver plug on it n plug it in to whatever, but what do i put it in???
its actually a 12v fan, but it spins fast enough on 7.2v and im putting it in my xray, i just dont no wot to plug it in to
do i need a seperate power source, like a seperate receiver pack???
any help would be great

Transponders only have 2 leads!

It should work yes! transponders are plugged into the BEC slot!
It should also be the 3rd slot, if its a 2 channel receiver..
Does its have anything written next to each slot? like ch1, ch2, bat.. just to make sure.

I bought a small radioshack fan with BEC preinstalled and put it over my GT7. I didn't notice anything different, but it sure draws some looks. My friend even went as far as to install one onto the roof of his car, and installed a real scoop. Works really good.

Here's a little sample of the twin-fan setup I use. It runs off the terminals on the ESC and provides ALOT of air. Both are small 5 volt fans that run on a separate switch. I can use them in the hot weather times or leave them off in the cold. Just a little 'extra' item I wanted...
