Hi Guys,

I would like to know what is the advantage of having 46mm swing shaft instead of 44mm?

I will comment what I think, but I hope that someone else will respond as well and/or please get a second opinion...

I believe that with the "stock" kit supplied arms the 46mm swing shafts are needed. However, if you switch to the 416 "short reversible" suspension arms you need the 44mm swing shafts.

I have the original V2 and have 46mm swing shafts front (51092) and rear (53724). I am using the kit arms and a spool up front.

I also have the new V2R, but haven't put it together... yet
I will be using a spool up front on the R as well

Are aluminum uprights needed? Or should i just buy a few sets since they are only like $3 for a set? I saw Hot Racing sells them for like $14 (no tcs for me).

Questions??

I can't find any 3x28 turnbuckle shafts.. will 3x32 work? (For Tamiyas 5mm turnbuckle ends)
I did find 3x23 but I don't see these on the kits manual??
would these work better instead?

I' hopeing the 3x32 will work on everything because the blue aluminum ones are a lot cheaper!

If the 3x32 will work for most of the turnbuckles I want to stock up on them..

Questions??

Another question..

If I get the TRF damper set. What spings work best? or is there a spring set I can get?

And what do you think the best damper oil would be?

I run on a medium size carpet track with 13.5 motor

Thanks.

Questions?? SORRY another..

Will this work for the front hub carriers?

http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...id=665&id=7520

It's a 3racing TA05 one.. I don't see a hole for the grub screw though?

If I get these will I need to make a lot of adjustments?

Zak,

Check out Lunsfordracing.com. The titanium turnbuckles are light and much stronger than aluminum. If you call them, you can order just the turnbuckles without the end caps. I also got titanium suspension hing pins from them. They are for a different car so I had to shorten them a bit but they work great and are much lighter.
