My tub isn't tweaked either! One of the other guys at my track, who is a big Tamiya guy, said the same thing until he put my chassis down on the table and it was nice and solid.

However, I am anxious to see Exotec's chassis for the TA-05 v2! And it will support IFS!

plastic tubs have a lesser chance of being tweaked when u buy them. carbon reinforced tubs have a greater chance of having a tweak straight from the factory.

my plastic tub at first didnt have a tweak.. but its plastic..heat... wear.. etc... it developed a slight tweak. nothing crazy though.

I have a question for all: is it worth getting the aluminum knuckles and rear uprights for the TA-05 v2? Or is it better to get the carbon reinforced one? I noticed while driving my car last time, the screws were backing out on their own!!! Nothing was stripped and I made sure not to over-tighten anything, given how soft the plastic is. Will the knuckles and rear uprights from the 416 work on the TA-05 v2?

Other than that, on the first drive, my car was hugging very nicely!! Without even using tire compound or a body. I am severely amazed at Tamiya.

My IFS_R plastic tub had little tweak - My plastic V2 tub had a terrible tweak - The Carbon V2 tub I just recd is the first and only TA05 tub I have ever had of anykind of TA05 tub that has virtually no tweak.

Recd mine last week from RC Champ (sorry - RC Market), I believe they were released in Japan on May 27th. The chassis looks great - like I said in my earlier post "No Tweak". But please don't blame me if your does -

Personally, I prefer the molded parts, as you need to have some part of the car that has some "give" to it, helps protect the more vital(read more expensive) parts when you hit something, & about your last question, yes, ALL suspension parts from the 416 will fit, as well as suspension parts from the TB03(they all share the short arm suspension & front bumper/body mount parts)....
