Took a couple photos with the body on it.
Im not a fan of the yellow that's just the type of shell that came with it.
I plan on painting a blue mustang shell for it eventually.

front rigth: 239g

IMHO it would be best to have the left and the rigth hand side of the car balanced at the same weight.

Could the car be tweaked somewhere?

What are the best ways to balance the weight of the car? What relation (front to left) is common?

Has no one any idea how to fix this?

that's a huge difference, like you don't have a battery in the car difference. The total is only 1279 which seems a bit light overall. What electronics are you using?

Oh, I see you have your VTA driver figure ready. Is that donatello?

Exclamation

I just got HPI VTA tires. 26mm 0 offset for front and 31mm 6mm offset for rear.

Does anyone know if I'll need to modify anything to make these fit?

Could it be that the chassis plate of the TA-05 ver.II has some tweak out of the box? I figured out, that when I twist my chassis around it's length (imaginary line parallel to the belt drive) all axles have the produce the same force on each tire.

Some have complained about that, I haven't found it to be an issue. Do you have a level style tweak station?

You most likely will need to add a washer between the front hub & wheel to space it out so the tire isn't rubbing the knuckle arm.

Thanks, what size washers would work for that?

Also, does anyone know what the largest size 64p spur and pinions will fit?

I need to order a 82t spur with 48t +/- pinions but worried the pinion would be too large..

Washer I use is 5.25mm ID 12mm OD thickness can vary depending on how much you need. Not sure on MAX spur / pinion

I can't really comment on spur/pinion(I use 64 pitch in my touring cars), but these washers will work to space out the VTA wheels... http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...id=613&id=7158 .
Or, you could use what I use, which is this: http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...nid=615&id=823 , that eliminates the need for any spacers to make the wheels clear everything....

does anyone know if the V2 and the 416 share the same body post locations? assuming you're running the carbon rear shock tower and not the stock one??

I just decided to buy some 64p gears. I ordered an 82 spur and 50t pinion. (I had $15 in store credit at amain about to expire). I can let you know how they fit. They should be here by the end of the week.
