I already have 48p pinions so I think I'll just switch the spur gear out so I don't need to go to tamiyausa.com.. Should I stick with a 70t spur?
If I get a smaller spur will that increase acceleration?

Thanks

Has anyone tried the Spec-R Gear-Diff for the TA05 and will it fit the TA05v2 chassis.

Thanks.

Well I ordered a low profile and a standard, I put the standard servo in so I will go with that one, I wanted to mount on the floor but its not a must.

Take out the Tamiya spur and take it to your LHS and mate it up to a 48p spur that has the same outside diameter....alternatively calculate your rollout required for the class you run and get the spur that would best suite.

Default TA05 V1.5

Here are a few photos and a video of my first IFS car...a TA05 Frankenstien project. It's got pieces from various versions along with just about every imaginable hop-up

Thanks to my brother for shooting the video on his new camera. This footage is from only the car's second run / battery pack. Not bad...but was made better on subsequent runs

Default Where to get ta05 v2 aluminum diff joint

I would like to get the r version of this chassis. But i was told if I run a mod brushless I should get the aluminum diff joints. I cant' seem to find them or does some other Tamiya series alu diff joint work? Like 416, tb03, etc.

Thanks in advance for any reply.
