its easy to tell the difference. The most notable will be the thickness of the carbon fibre. measure yours, if every CF part is 2.6mm then you've got a clone

I still hate the idea of this Chinese copy thing and it'd be nice to see a back-to-back track comparison of the real to the copy.

Have to go to your User Control Panel, your ignore list is in there, add his ID to it.

hmm i would buy one to test it side by side with the real one.
Isnt everything made in china anyways? i believe most of the rc cars/ parts. planes, boats etc etc all made in china or in that region but R&D is done somewhere else.

B18C Turbo - your car looks great and i agree, this is a great way for people to get into the hobby if funds are a bit lacking. I mean, why not? if you can change it to the genuine article later on and your happy with it, i say go for it. From the pics I really have to say it does look good.

I guess you will always have people that dislike this or that, having issues with copies, arguments left and right, but in the end if you bought it and like it - thats all that really matters. You goin to send a link of a video? like to see it.

good luck with it.

17.5 isn't what I had in mind. Mod would be better to find the limits of the copy.

true, unfortunately we just dont have a track big enough for lower turn mod motor in New England. Well there is Chaplin(beautiful track) however no electric racing is done there

I could try a 6.5 maybe on assphalt next weekend and see how that goes, stay tuned!

If anything, the thicker chassis plate would make this a good candidate for foam tire racing.
