Can't wait to get it... wish I could say I was the one that did up the paint (I usually paint my own) but this one was a Franks paint job, from Ebay. I'm trying my best to get some people locally to participate in a GT style class... the race director keeps a decent supply of hand-out silvercans, and I hate to see an older car just collect dust... so may as well find a new way to enjoy them.

Who makes BBS style wheels, gold mesh, with chrome rim. Or black mesh with chrome rim?

I was browsing an hk rc forum and found an led lighting unit a guy made, seems to do everything the tamiya unit does (or more?) for a decent price.

+ YouTube Video

Specs:

Plan to put this on my HSV010 when the body arrives

Any other units you guys have used that are good alternatives to the tamiya?

Anybody still running those?... I thought it was a cool idea (direct drive touring cars) but they died out so quickly here I never saw them run...
