I think you got my question wrong... what i meant was am i allowed to run these 4 doors GT bodyshells in the TC classes ? Like the Lexus IS200 for instance, am I allowed to run that shell in the regular TC category or is the GT shell has different dimensions that would not conform with the TC regulations?

If its allowed, sure hell I'm gonna run it....

As far as RCGT is concerned, yes, but you are limited to HPI and Tamiya Bodies. The protoform Bodies do not qualify for RCGT(Stratus, LTC, Mazda6/Speed6, etc.

Again I think you get my question wrong... Thinking about using 4-door GT bodies for TC category and not the other way round....

And seeing that the TC category uses a body dimension gauge (dont know what its called but its a box that is used to measure the size of the bodyshell) to make sure each bodyshell conforms to the ruling, my question is will the 4-Door GT bodies passed this test or is does it have different dimensions compared to TC bodies ?

there's nothing stopping you from running a 'rcgt' body in with the normal TC - however, most people perfer the 'race designed/test' body like the stratus, mazda, etc for running TC.

The only time you'd have an 'issue' running one of the RCGT bodies would be if you're track is 100% ROAR-rules or you are running some kind of ROAR regional/national/worlds race...

but other then that - go for it its nice to see some variety against all the 'cookie-cutter' race bodies...I know I used to run my Altezza (Tamiya body in normal TC for a while

As far as I'm concern, the only ruling they enforce here in my country is the ruling of running a 4-door 190mm sedan bodyshell, and a standard IFMAR dimensions ruling I think... which means they have a way of measuring the dimensions of the bodyshell by using a box with preset dimensions....

What I'm afraid is that if I were to run a 4-Door GT body like the Altezza, the dimensions would not fit the box dimensions or IFMAR ruling in terms of dimensions...

In terms of aerodynamic performance, I'm not worried about it that much... Just wanna give some variety of cars on the track while racing....

our die-hard TC racers dont mind me running my Lambo...and that incl some top-notch tc'ers...but for rules Im not sure.....I do know my body is alot bigger than a standard TC body...and it a 2 door..lol...I would run it and see what your locals say....you never know...RCGT might catch on...quick change of body and tires and BAMM!...

good luck

Definitely a nice Saleen S7.. just do me a huge favor... ditch the fake exhaust pipe sticking out the back since you already have the stock exhaust stickers on there. Other than that.. it looks very nice. I really like the whispy pattern on the body sides. The reflection of the carbon fiber on the side of the car don't look bad either. Ever thought of making a carbon fiber looking one at some point?

I am actually going to get ride of the stickers. I left them on there just because I was done for the night messing with it. I think I am going to have try to track down two mufflers with dual tips.

In that case.. I retract my previous statement. It will look really nice with the two tips and fewer stickers. The design and look of it is great as is.. I just have a pet peave about multiple exhausts on cars in sticker and other form. Sorry bout that. What chassis is that? TT-01?
