Go to Team Associated's web site and start with Blackstock's last carpet setup for the TC3:

Default stripped screw hole on the lower tranny case...

Other than replacing the lower front tranny housing, could someone give me some alternative suggestions as to how to fix a stripped screw hole on the tranny case?

Ive heard that a little CA in the screw hole then replacing the screw helps. Its a hint Ive seen suggested for all sorts of stripped screw holes

Dont do it

ON a serious note.. with the standard TC3 tub your gonna have to do a whole lot of cutting to remove the lower part of the TC3 mount in order to make room for the TC4 mount.

I'd just buy a TC4, they are cheap on ebay

As previously stated , some CA in the hole should do the trick. But hey tranny cases aint that expensive.

Sell your TC3 on eBay and buy John Stranahan's TC4 for $100.
