In my opinion, the TC3 can still compete with anything out there. The Racer is a great car for the money

It seems like some of the old TC3s sold on eBay are being picked up to be used as "drift cars". If you have an old Factory TC3 you want to get rid of, jump over to http://www.driftrcentral.com and sell it there. Because the Factory TC3 has graphite parts, threaded aluminum shocks, ball bearings, etc. it is an affordable alternative to Yokomo's Drift Package. It's pretty stripped down and requires you do buy more parts for it. I myself have bought 2 TC3 rolling chassis from these forums for my cousins from Toronto. (Factory TC3s NIB cost an arm and a leg there) They're now used as drift cars.

Another man's junk is another man's goldmine!

I have 2 of them, but havent run them all summer cause of the heat.
Thinking about tradeing them for a e-maxx roller

Default TC3

I still race one at a competitive track (SoCal), and have won the stock A-main with a BMI upgraded TC3. The car in stock form is a little heavy.

I have a BMI TC3 that I race every weekend. I also keep a Factory Team TC3 on hand as my back up. I won the local "4 wd Pro" points series, and the "semi-pro" last season running the BMI TC3. It hardly ever gets to see any shelf time.

That's the good thing about these TC3s. Spare parts for these are all over the place. If you get a Yokomo, they are a little harder to come by, can be had if you buy them from the YokomoUSA website but you'll be paying retail plus flat S&H of $6+.

i started with a TC3 and i still got the basic layout its a warpspeed conversion but i still love the TC3 over the TC4 or the FT TC4, the TC3 may be in the shadows of some newer cars but it still packs a knock out punch which some cars the same age don't. I wouldn't change for another shaft car. TC3 FOR EVER BABY! lol

I still have and run only TC3's. I have upgraded a couple to BMI cars and they work well. On a good weekend I can still place 1st in the A main at my local tracks against all the new Corally's, X-ray's etc. I think about switching to another car but why, As long as I can win with it still, theres no need.

A couple good reasons that I think this car is still not a bad car to have is the fact that you can buy them alot cheaper than a new car and parts are still available. Off course, if you have to have all the latest and greatest bling, this car may not be for you.
