Default Setup

I would also like a parking lot setup but with a spool. I usually run on a totally different surface.

Cheers,

Iv'e been running my TC3 for almost 3 years now (same car just a bit more blue now ) and i only run stock but reciently when i pull off the start line it sounds like the diffs are slipping cause it sounds like its doing wheel spin but it still shots of the line and it still as quick as the other cars around the track, should i tighten the diffs or just leave it? Also i keep it clean and lubed all the time almost a full strip down every week

I'm just wondering, has anyone tried replacing the TC3 steering rack with the assembly from the TC4?

I havent tried it, I havent even compared the two assemblys. If you do install it and find it to really help with the car, please post it. It would be something that I wold be interested in.

Set-up for TC3 on ozite carpet
Rubber tires: CS-22's all around med inserts

Reddy QM 19/WR tuned. Blistering fast!!!
NOVAK GTX
PEAK: 1.185
KO 2123 Servo: TC3 servo saver only used.
100/33 spur/pinion

Note: This is a WR PRO Chassis. Handeling may vary to the original TC3 Chassis, and battery mod chassis.

Note: Add stock sway bar to front if traction rolling occurs.

Front
Camber: -1.5
Caster: 4 deg
Shock oil :70 wt
Springs: AsccCopper
Droop level #5 using associated droop guage.
Shock position: Inboard
Toe IN/OUT : 0 deg
5.0 mm

Rear
Camber -1.5
Wheel Base : Short
Shock Oil : 70 wt
Springs: Ascc Silver
Droop level #6 using associated droop guage.
Shock Position: Middle hole
Toe IN/OUT : 3 deg
5.0 mm

Very easy to drive, smooth in the corners and very stable down the straight away. one word!!! STABLE!!!

Tips.

Get a set of vernier calipers, measure each shock shaft. Make sure all four corners are equal ! A MUST!
Make sure each shock has the same compression. Buy LOSI SHOCK DYNO!

Make sure the weights on all fours corners are equal! Balance car is a fast car

Make sure you set the droop equal for the Front L/R and Rear L/R

After ever race make sure the camber hasent changed from a hit!

Get teamlosi xxx-s 4 deg caster/spindel blocks!! yes there for the xxxs but they fit the tc3 without any modifications. why you ask? thre made from stronger materials!

With my set-up it gives a good starting point (i think) You can tinker nw with the spring rates, go up a few rates on the rear.maybe blue?

Good luck.

Looking for some advice folks. Just got back into driving a TC3 and I'm looking to try out one of the aftermarket chassis, particularly the IRS or the BMI. Can you guy's pass on some impressions of these 2 if you've had experience with them. Obviously looking for the best performance, quality and service. I've read some of the BMI thread but I can't seem to find much about the IRS.
