TC3 setup
Does anybody have a good baseline asphalt setup for this car?

Silver springs in the front, Green in the rear. -1 chamber all around, just a little toe out in the front. Ride height at least 6mm. Keep the rest of the stock setting.
thats what everyone in memphis uses. We race on low traction, bumpy asphalt.

For those winter days (ambient temps between 5 - 15º C) and prepared asphalt with good traction:
- Front:
50wt oil, biggest hole piston (I never know if is #1 or #3, the one with biggest holes).
Gold spring.
Center hole upper mount position.
F-0 front plate (0º degree kick-up).
2 degree caster blocks.
1.5º camber.
Stock position of upper arm.
- Rear:
50wt oil, #2 piston
Blue spring.
Center hole upper mount position.
R 2-0 rear plate (2 degree toe-in 0 kick up).
1º camber
Stock position of upper arm.
Depending on track temp you can go for a ProLine 1095 with stock blue foam inserts (rear) and Yokomo ZR037-S (front) with some tyre additive (red dot works best) or maybe ProLine 1095 S3 compound with Yokomo ZR037-S inserts (this tyre setup for a little higher track temp, use with tyre heaters).
For more ambient temp (let's say about 15-25ºC).
- Swap the 50wt oil for 60wt oils.
- Swap the Gold/Blue Springs for Red/Silver or Red/Blue.
Beware, with this setup your car will be very quick, but your rear tends to break a little loose, to correct, reduce the camber to 0º or put a little harder insert rear.
Hope this helps, for me is fine.

Here's what I run on low traction surfaces (sealed asphalt, polished concrete, etc...)
front:
blue springs
#1 piston
40wt oil
-1 deg. camber
0 toe in/out
ride height 6-7mm
no droop setting (as much as possible)
no sway bar
rear:
green springs
#1 piston
30wt oil
-1 deg. camber
3 deg. toe in
ride height 6-7mm
no droop setting (as much as possible)
no sway bar
-I usually run either pink or gray foams or Pro Line yellow cap tires
-I set the car up using the stock caster and kick up settings, as I have found that it doesn't make that much difference to me
-I set the car up with soft suspension and high ride height, that way in the corners, the car will roll. That transfers weight to the outside tires helping them to hook up. I have been running this setup for a couple of years and it seems to work really well for me

are the brp kingpins better than the stock Associated kingpins, i just bought a set of the stock ones and installed them (the kingpins in the front were bent badly).
also is there a derlin spur gear mount for the tc3, cause the stock one makes my spur wobble (rrp spur).
tia
also are teh eagle racing foams any good?
check out my dyno results for my gm3 http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...&threadid=2065
