Your best off sticking with the molded tubs on all surfaces. The warpspeed chassis sucks because the chassis is thick and they did not even mill it out so that the diffs, hinge pin blocks, etc would remain at their original height. They just slapped it all together so now basically the whole car rides higher...

The carbon fiber chassis' look sweet and all, but there's a reason why they are never used by the top guys...

Yeah, the graphite tubs are fine. The only disadvantage is that they don't look as cool, but is that really a disatvantage??. And they're much cheeper too !

Pimpedaccord:::: Have you measured the molded chassis thickness. It sounds like you have a problem with a product that is very good. The Warpspeed chassis is 3mm thick and the stock molded chassis looks pretty thick to me!!!!

I am not bad mouthing the molded chassis. I think it works very good.

The factory guys dont run the graphite plate chassis because they can't. They have to run what AE makes and AE doesnt make a graphite plate chassis. They can only modify the stock chassis to be better.

The IRS chassis has locations milled in the chassis to lower the components down to the correct height. I just got mine togehter lastnight. It doesn't feel much different, but it is definetly TRICK LOOKING ! We will find out how it performs on Sunday.

Later,

rangulo- The warpspeed is like 1mm thicker in all the places it shouldn't be...

James Nguyen- Not true... AE makes hubs, steering knuckles, carriers and stuff, but why do almost all the top guys run losi parts (or make their own and market them)??
