You need these part bags:1714 bearings, 2228 rack, and 2229 rack hardware. Other than that, you only need the correct measurements, a little time & patience.

NTC3NUT: Thanks for the pt #'s. Just one last question, how do you make countersunk holes in the chassis?

Default New TC 3 on the market soon?

Hi

I've recently bought a Schumacher Mission Carbon with a huge load of hop-up parts for it. But after trying a TC3 from a guy in my local club and after reading alot about it, im getting more and more convinced that i would rather have a TC3 Factory Team car.

But seeing that the current TC3 car has been on the market since 1999, which makes it one of the oldest models around, im worried that they might release a new car with in a short period(3-6 months). Has anybody heard anything of this?

I don't want to spend another sh*tload of money on a new car just like i did with the mission, to see that a new and better model will be coming soon. And considering that since i live en Denmark everything is twice as expensive as the prices seen in the US, it makes an even greater difference.

Can anybody comment on this please?

- From a, hopefully, soon to be TC3 racer

I heard rumors..buts that all.
If you're looking for a shaft driven TC..look into the new Tamiya Evolution-III. Hear alot of good things about it and just as competative as the TC3.

I would think (meaning, I know nothing for sure) that they would not redo the whole car while still coming out with running changes like the new arms and shaft.

I've heard rumors of a new chassis with less initial tweak and different batt locations, but that's about it. That could easily be another running change without a complete overhaul.

Just a guess, though.

Default REEDY RACE 2003

It's going to be at the Tamiya track again this year.
anybody know the dates? links to any info?

I asked AE about a new chassis..they said yes. Batteries moved closer to the shaft. Same mod that everyone is doing now. Will be more narrower aswell. No major changes to the car..more running changes. Rear shock towers may get revised as well.

It would be nice to see the NTC3 rack installed as well.

Sorry. No new TC anywhere in site. The current car is still doing VERY well and, other than a few running changes, we don't see a need to produce a new one.

We have a few other projects that need working on first. As far as a 'new chassis', don't know about that, either.... Some of the drivers have been milling the chassis to 1) move the battery closer to the center line, and 2) install the Nitro TC3 rack. And I don't know if that is even going to BE a change in the kits.....

Tony,
It was cool pitting across from you and Travis and thanks for letting me use your calculator. Good luck at the Snowbirds. I hope the TC3 dominates this race too. Tell Travis to say hello to Pam for me!
