Hey guys,
Been reading the forum lately and finally decided to get a TC3 for stock and moving my mission up to full mod duties. I was wondering what hopups i should order with the FT TC3? I will be getting the warpspeed chassis when it comes out seeing how much of a difference it made on my mission. other than that what should i get with it? any help is appreciated guys. thanks.

Mike,
Car looks awesome. I like the 6.45 cut the best. I used an old Trinity bumper for the foam, you want it super stiff, but lite.

The Foam is from the Battery slots of my ProMatch Battery Box Holder. I need something stiffer becuse the batter will move in a major impact. I also put it in the front bumper to stiffen it up a little.

I have not had a chance to drive the cars yet and will not have a chance for 2 more weeks . I do have better control on my hardwood floors going after my cat with the cells at 6.45mm in . Both cars are balanced pretty well on my tweak board. But I can twist the 6.45chassis really easily and make the car majorly tweaked. I am going to get some Graphite and cut some center braces for the car.

pizza-dude- According to Walter Henderson of AE-the narrower you get them-the better he likes it. And in stock he doesnt think a top plate is neccessary-even with batteries moved all the way in to driveshaft. I am putting a top plate in anyways because I want to cut off even more of the chassis in a few spots that will hurt rigidity.

James Nguyen- For stock-I would just buy the IRS lightened input shafts and if you need to run a transponder-get the IRS servo/transponder mount. The rest of the stuff you need to do is all labor intensive. Lots of cutting on the chassis-though not neccessary to dominate with car!!

I am thinking I will use the other chassis now to try out the Nitro TC3 Steering mod.

Forget the TC3 and wait for the new HPI Pro4 to be released.

Hey guys!!!

Dont bother with the pro-4, im good friends with a couple of people that work for HPI the recon the first kit will be carbon composite and nothing like the photos of haras car on the team orion web site!!! Bit of a shame really as it looks a very nice piece of kit.

I'm good friends with someone that actually drove the Pro4, met Hara, Mr. Watanabe (HPI owner) and the design team. The Pro4 will deserve the Pro name...they will not make the same mistakes as the did with the PRO3.
