Craig,
I thouht the same thing. I know it doesn't matter what Josh runs, but I am suprised to see the "Factory " guys being so open about it. I was kind of shocked that Barry had his sedan in RC Car Action and it had the Losi parts on it. It must not be that big of a deal I guess. By the way, I don't have any photo's of Josh's car, but he was practicing at our local track pretty much all week last week, and he let alot of us check his car out first hand. I can honestly say that he had something new on it everytime I saw it. He is a master of invention.

Hi Guys. Greetings from Malta.

ou can see pictures of Josh cyrul's car on the Team Orion web site. Oscar is covering the Cleveland event with reports and pics.

TC3s are pretty impressive up front. In fact after round 2 I think it was 5 TC3s, 3 Losis, 1 Schumi and I Corally.

regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Every race more and more non (e)TC-3 parts show up in his ride...
He is in serious doubt it seems LOL.... (Losi vs AE)

On the Team Orion site a few pics are shown.
But I'ld really like some good close-ups!!!
John,
allready found those.
But I do not find them very clear.
I mean according to the stories going around about Josh's TC-3 there are a LOT of details which are not standard!
Those I wanna seeeee.....

Regards,

Pizza

Does anyone know where I can find the RCCA article on Barry Bakers tc3? Also, for the Losi Rear hubs, the most they go up to is 1* rear toe-in, does that mean that is the most toe-in I will be able to use? I usually run 2-3 degrees with foams.

Any help would be appreciated.

Martin.

The tc3 has 3 degrees toe in inboard as standard and 0 degree hubs. To work out total toe in you have to add the toe in of the hubs to the inboard toe in. You can also mount the hubs backwards to reduce toe in.

Josh ushually runs his TC3 Foam with the 2degree toe in setting from asso.
And he then uses the 1 degree Losi hubs in reverse.
So I the end he has about 1 degree toe in.

Default question on cyrul's car

what is the center carbon piece covering the center shaft? Does it help stiffen the chassis?

theisgroup, i asked the same question on josh cyruls thread on tech talk and have not got an answer yet. my guess would be to keep the chassis from bowing, maybe. but that chassis is pretty stiff.

They are removing the center brace in order to get the batteries close to the centerline. So they use the brace to strengthen the chassis.

Josh made it himself I believe. The TC3 is stiff, but you can flex it in a "U" shape (or a bow), even without removing any of the center brace. Here's a link to a Japanese company that makes one similar. I have made an inquiry to HK to see if they can get these.
