TPHalen.....congrats on tying the knot......I went to your site and downloaded the Kinetix setup.......you say that this should work good with rubber tires also????At the very least...would you consider changing the droop settings for the taller rubber tires????....thanks again.

Sorry, I know this was directed to Tony.
We were running rubber at Kinetix for a while. There are some rubber setups posted at www.rcfiles.com I think getting the compound correct is the big thing. When we were running rubber it was much cooler weather 40 to 60 degrees indoors! Keep that in mind. Much more fun on foams.

Dingus....you guys gonna get a big ROAR Carpet race this year?????We've got a Carpet track in Shreveport LA......been racing about 5 months now.......Puter scoring and everything.....A/C...Heat(not needed now)

Lately its been more tracks than racers. Where are you in tx with no tracks?

I think we are having regionals. Put some pressure on Ron and David at www.rcfiles.com or www.kinetixrc.com (track pics as well) and maybe we will. No ac or heat yet. Gettin a little hot, but a really cool facility nonetheless.

Dingus...i edited my post to read.....(california sucks for having all the tracks)....still kidding.....I've seen your track on the net...watched Atomic Ron's video.....pretty kewl lookin' place....TPHalen raced at our track and then i believe raced at yours......If ya'll get that race, we're planning on bringing as many peeps as possible.I emailed Reflex in Houston, and they may get the Asphault regionals or sumpin like that in August......

Bigal........I just started using the 1-way....for me it was and still is a little tricky....On Asphault, i like to use alot of brakes(i like to outbrake people)so i dont use the 1-way there....on 50' by 100' tracks or smaller, i havent seen an advantage to a 1-way.

You should come on down sometime just for the fun of it. We've been having a hard time with attendance lately. Nitro??? And one of the offroad tracks finally fixed their dirt. We still get people from all over the state every now and then. Everyone seems to go home happy.

I(we) may do that...I think RCCadet has been coming down there?I think it would be kewl, if we could get a Texas State series going(sedan and 1/12)yes i know Shreveport isnt in Texas.......but its close.......that would be K&M, Reflex,Kinetix,T&T,Finishline,Indy R/C,Shreveport(lol)....missing any????

Dragon Slayer: For rubber, I might change the droop slightly. It's really gonna depend on the tires you are running. You might just throw some rubbers on (oops...that's a weird statement) and see how the car goes. It might be good, it might not. It's been a long time since I've run on carpet, and even longer since I ran rubber on carpet.
Let me know what it does and we can see if we can get it dialed in....

You could also see about starting a foam class. It ends up being cheaper, easier and faster. Ask anyone at Kinetix. I also heard it is easier on the ozite...
