This is only for the "Realistic"/modern F1 class.
The Open class rockets, well, no one wants to stop one in the pits. so it's just a sprint til clock ends it.
Pit Timer that Tim Ruwe made...
plug into battery... press the foot switch for a set time, say 7 seconds... then every time you press the foot switch red light will stay on for 7 seconds... This thing is pretty bright, you can see it in direct sunlight...

after seeing the photos of the f1s running in the rain i had to try it http://youtu.be/E5i11ExLhOg.
now that its moving into winter, wet weather will be par for course for the next few months. the track temps are often fridgidly cold in the dry.i found i had almost as good grip as i find in the dry cold. standing water is obviously a no no but damp/wet surface is good fun

Hey guys,

how many rounds do you get out of an set of soft/option Tamiya rubber tires until they lose grip? The track where I race is medium grip with many corners and I do an average of 17 sec. on this track.

what surface?
@ my local track most of the guys run medium because even though its high bite, the carpet devours the rubber.
