Default Battery/Speed Control/Motor

Looking to get a recommendation for battery/speed control/motor for the
F104 for parking lot racing this year....

There really isn't an F1 class in my area... so a "safe" recommendation would be appreciated. I may consider traveling to a MidWest TCS race....

So guys, I would appreciate a recommendation...

Default Going to build F1

I have pan car,but want to build a F1. It will be the 104pro with the Exotek conversion but what is the legal motor for carpet racing? I dont want to buy twice. Is the Exotek a good carpet chassis? Any feedback is welcome...

Project 34

Putting the 6 wheeled Tyrrell P34 on to the F104 chassis, possibly with Exotek conversion?
Am already looking to the new shaped 2s LiPo, 96mm long is only 3 mm longer than my 1s packs, so should get ESC inline with a 2s pack that way, and use a 21.5?

Default Front Camber

Has anyone had much joy with adding camber to there setup? Kit is 0 deg, option is 1 deg, and aftermarket option can go as high as 2 deg...

Thanks...

I stay with 0 camber.
Car needs more steering into corners but is wicked loose out of corners.
That's on every surface as far as I have felt.

When adding camber it helps the steering everywhere which makes it even stupider coming out of corners.
Therefore I just live with the push into the corners (brake to turn in) and keep as much grip out of the corners as I can get. Negative camber kills that exit grip I need.

That is unless you are running proper foam tires

Who would waste good $ buying skinny foams for an F104?

Now kickin coin to put fatties on and make an F104W is another thing. Braap braap braap... (upshifts with the paddles).

Oh, you did say proper foams, you're right again sir!

Sounds like you need more toe out! Adding toe out will increase steering into the corner but less steering coming out. Conversely toe in will decrease steering into the corner but increase steering coming out.

NB> too much toe out can make the car wander down the straight...
