What shock springs are those? They look nice and skinny...

I like the up-grades. Here's what I'm gonna try @ the track next time out. I've been reading about 103 front ends switching over to our 104s. Wala, here's a 3Racing hop-up 103 front susp. on my 104. I couldn't use the susp. pins from 104, too tall for 103 front wheels. The good thing is my 104 foams still fit bearing wise. The body mod was no big. I think it looks only O.K. Notice my front end wheel base has increased substantially. Have to get the calipers out! We'll see how she performs???Attachment 511975

the major 104 issues, squareing corners mid corner push, can't be solved by making the front WIDER....that takes away steering

Just wondering has anyone played around with the steering exponential to make the car less sensitive around center? I have a feeling if the steering is linear that you're inherently going to get a squaring of turns with the design of the F104...

Looking to get an F104. But I want the F60 Bodyset.
Do I go with the F104 PRO or the F104 with the F60 bodyset?

But first, my tire combo: In the rear = Tamiya F103 rubbers (B), Up front = Tamiya F103 foams.
Now, I started by triming, once trimed I gunned it straight. I then turned to the right real sharp. It handled the turn, except instead of being straight once letting go of my steering, it turned to the left on it's own. My trim somehow reversed. So I re-trimed so that I was straight again. Gunned it straight again, except I turned real sharp to the left. Again, should be straight after the release, but instead it turned to the left, on it's own.
Any suggestions????:flam ing:

I just got this servo. I'm a hopeful, I'm gonna do the hand work and switch back the the original 104 front, because this didn't happen hours before I made the switch. Man, I have alot to learn!

Type B fronts, black front springs, and no rear spring rounded out the package. I'm pretty happy with how it handles now.
