It's best to leave them unpainted, because they will chip off eventually. You can get different colors made by TRG or Cross. They are for the F103, but the front wing might be different.

any idea of gearing for a 17.5?

We have to use stock spurs and tamiya pinions as the spur isn't the standard one and the pitch isn't 48 or 64, correct?

It appears the car kits were a one off production run.

Looks like the typical TRF 0.4 module spur, so you will need Tamiya pinions. They are relatively inexpensive on eBay and come in packs of two. Nobody's tried aftermarket spurs yet as far as I know

If you want real chrome, go with Spaz Stix aresol. It's expensive, but it's amazing. Just make sure to clean the inside VERY well before spraying it...

It should be backed with black to keep from being transparent. They recommend an Acrylic black, but I tested tamiya PS paints and it worked. Do so at your own risk.

This stuff is no joke:

Hmmm, seems weird since they are considering only allowing this chassis in 2010 TCS F1.

One off implies that the chassis would not continue not just the kit turning into a Pro kit only or some other variation.

Champ sometimes says things are discontinued when that's not 100% true. I'm not sure why. I can't believe this car is discontinued....would seem awful silly.
