Is anyone running F1 cars on asphalt banked ovals? All we have here to run on other than a clay off road is a 1/4 scale tri oval. I was thinking this may be fun with a brushless geared to the hill for some hot nasty speed.

so... anyone doing this? I was wondering about tires, foams or rubber... and does anyone make capped tires for the F1 cars? (like BSA? makes for the pan cars)

thanks for the help

Default Rubber Tire Question???????

At the place I am going to race at, They alternate tires on given race days from foam to rubber. Kit comes with foam. TRG has been recommended. Does anyone know if they will mount on the tamiya wheels for the F104. Or will this require some alterations? Possible F103 wheels, or are the TRG wheels made for the F104?

i am struggling with the same thing... the f103 TRG rubber wheels/tires technically should install on the f104..but will not be the 2009 f1 setup/look..

i hope tamiya or someone comes out with a rubber option for these cars

Just got the dreaded email from Champ. They are out of stock and do not ever expect to see any more of these.

these cars being so light they should not be to hard on the foam tires and be to light for rubber tires to work properly

They seem to work fine on rubber.
