So as mentioned above you only need the 103 front end, longer tie rods, and your choice of 103 wheels and tires.
I'm curious as to why you want to change to the wider car when the narrow car has proven to be very, very competitive when it comes to racing on rubber tires since the Pit Shimizu combo is kicking serious ass now.

If you are however racing on foams I understand completely since the premount 103 tires and other similar combos will most likely destroy the combos available for the 104 sized tires and rims.
I got f104 pits and i got f103 pits im wondering if it will handle even that much better with the f103 pits

I have no idea how the 103 Pits work, I do know that the 571/572 combo for the 104 kicks serious ass.
Again, not sure why you want to convert to the wide version unless you were planning to run foams but if the 103 Pits work anything like the 104 Pits you should be ok and if they don't, hurry and put the 571/572 combo on it and go kick some asses.

F103 pits work very well. I use the r3 soft and either f3 soft or med. R1 Softs also work well.

I never had fun with F1s on rubber. My first F1 was the 103 on foams and it was instantly hooked up. No rubber came close but I tried the usual 103 stuff, Rides, Superions...zzzzz.
Then the 104 on their option rears etc. It was ok and had sucess at TCS races but still not a race car in comparison. Always chose the 103 foamed.
Tried early Pits and car was better but just ok.
Borrowed a set of 571/572 Pits and car was an instant race car, finally so yeh, I'm a huge fan

You haven't tried em Mike? Car gets very lazy and pushy after a couple/few laps on the rug. Not cool.

Depends on the carpet. The track I run at has older carpet and the Tamiya tires work pretty well on it. I did throw a set of Pits on my car and they handle better, but the Tamiya tires are not terrible.

Those borrowed Pits were only for one run then I ran and bought my own set(s).
My car works great with the short deck on asphalt and carpet. I changed to the short option deck when they came out and then changed again when the X1 conversion hit the shelves.
I have a long deck and the short option deck for sale cheap!

With those tires you do not want the 103 front end on it.

X1 long deck is made for side damper setup. Not sure what you meant by "roll damper."
