If you guys are bending rear axles regularly then you should probably stop crashing so much.

I crash a lot. I mean A LOT! Haven't bent one yet. The only thing I have problems with on the graphite axle is that I tend to throw the left wheel off fairly often. Even with the clamp hub. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

For me, the steel axle gave more bite in the middle of the corner, so wasn't anything to do with the throttle feel. Just a bit slower rotation.

Also, bare in mind differences between foam and rubbers... for rubbers, IMO, having a locked in rear end is king, as they just don't give the traction of foam.

Default TRG roll damper set

Just installed this kit, feels pretty sweet. Only neg is their use of phillips head screws for everything. Just wanted some ideas on damper fluids, what are you guys using on the X1 ?

I finished my first F104 X1 on Thursday and raced it over the weekend in SoCal. Was a blast racing the car. I got lots of help with set up and saw some really fast cars. went thru 3 bottom plates and 1 T-bar but that says more about my driving than the car.
