Personally I really like the body etc. that comes with it and if they have the rear axle/diff setup which can be adjusted without pulling the wheel off each time then that is a consideration for sure
the F104 comes with a diff setup that allows you to pull the wheel off without having to reset the diff its available separately and can be used (from what I recall) with both the F104's and the F103's

Thats what I'm thinking cheROK ...... when are they racing F1 again there? I looked on their website and couldn't see any mention of F1 anywhere?? ......

I'm intrigued about the new car (F104X1) but itching to get a car now. You know how that ges haha
I've ordered a new motor 21.5 BL May need to get a battery too as I've been told the "normal" rectangular Li-Po packs wont fit.
Any advice on which battery to get guys? ......

Ok. So when is everyone going Leisurehours again? ..... I'd like to get up there. :-)

Yes and the F104 diff runs much smoother as well. The F103 diff uses the wheel as part of the thrust assembly so feels more bound up. I prefer the F104 diff on my F103. 3Racing makes an adjustment nut that allows diff tightening from the left side of the spur. I use one of these and think it is pretty trick though it makes diff rebuilds a little tricky.

I may not get to LHR for a couple weeks we have a Asphalt Assault series race coming up at a different venue and I'm trying to put in some time there. It's no further for you to come there and we should have 1 or 2 heats of FIERCE F1 wars. Follow either the Asphalt Assault thread or the Strictly RC thread for more info. I also forgot to mention, if you don't want to wait for the 104X another option (perhaps the best) is the Exotek EX104. It's a conversion for the F104 or you could buy the Exotek and all the rear pod and front suspension stuff, I think it comes out all the same. The Exotek converts your pretty understeering shelf queen into fire breathing apex eating bad a$$ REALTALK. Also a lot of guys have been messing around with the hard case mini lipos. Same voltage same amperage half the weight. Cheers hope you get sorted Mega.

Understeering in an F104? This car has more steering than I know what to do with. That is in both Carpet / Foam and Asphalt / Rubber configurations. No fancy chassis is required to get the F104 to turn...TRUTH

Which is odd...most people find that the car has understeer once they can get sufficient rear grip from the super soft t-plate

Way I see it, understeer means youre going too hard.
