I know this has been posted before, but what's the part number to that new upper deck for the F104?? the split upper deck??

I'm looked thru the last dozen or so pages, and can't find any mention of it - if I remember who posted it originally, I could have done a search

more flex?

Other than the more flex, it allows the use of direct shock absorber without the friction plate.

I am new to F1 and I use direct shock absorber to reduce tuning variables. I am not sure what the friction plates do since there is already a T-bar, I can only think that the friction plate is to damp the movement of T-bar, but for front-rear, isn't the shock handling the task already?

Can someone tell me the rate of the 104 pro white spring?
It says med. in the parts diagram but when you
look up Tamiya springs all the white springs are listed as extra stiff?
Need a stiffer spring but not sure what to use..

Hey JD - what's the color dot on the spring?? The all white springs have the colored dots that designate what firmess they are - the all white springs (or white with white dot, if you will) are the firmer of the group...

white with red dot - softest
white with yellow dot - medium
white with blue dot - firm
white with with dot - firmer

hope that helps

If it's the Touring Car Short spring then it's;
17.25lb/in or 308.1gf/mm

then you probably have the all-white ones, so you'll need to look for the dots I believe that's what my pro came with
