Does the rear spoiler make a big difference at an asphalt track. I've got both f104 pro and f104 basic

perhaps you might be better off using aftermarket rears?

just my 2 cents.
Bro thanks for the info. Its for TAC, seems like F104W is legal here.

So aftermarket is out, and I want tires for F104W, not 103, maybe the fronts.

I am still building the pages and getting stuff figured out, but if I have it I will sell it and if I don't, I either have it on the way or I will get it for you. I will have everything priced affordably for the RCF1 world to purchase.
Anyone feel free to PM me with inquiries and requests.
I have a Lotus 79, and a Mclaren MP4-24 under construction, will post pics soon

I think this is what you are looking for.

I think I may have ordered some for stock, but if I havent, I will be.
Will be ordering all the 104W kits for resale as well as to build for sale.

all the F1's are running on rubber at the Coliseum, in the middle of the cold cold winter. All of the local area has been covered with a foot of snow for over a week now but not a foam tire to be seen.

I'm hoping a few guys start showing up with foam tires so we can run BOTH foam and rubber F1 at the March TCS. h

yes. based on back to back tests with the Pro body and the Ferrari F60 in the basic kit, this is what i found. the Pro body has less rear downforce (oversteer) while the Ferrari F60 had more rear downforce (slight understeer).

i also noted in some races that a few racers would mix and match the rear wings depending on track layout and surface...

hope this helps

thats news to me bro. im also running in TAC. with the F-104W now fully legal, it might be a better proposition to run an F-104W than the standard 104... having said that, i have a Wolf WR-1 body standing by. all im missing is the wheels and tires to match.

our only obstacle is to find said wheels and tires...

If you guys choose to run the F104W don't you have to also run the kit tires on them as well?

IMO the wings on an F1 are an authentic decoration!! Unlike off-road wings and Touring Car wings where they are an essential part of the cars handling!

thats the only drawback as the original rear rims of the F-104 give it a narrow track compared to the rear rims of the 104W.

we have to use 104W rims and tires on the 104W. if we use the 104 rims to the W, the car would look goofy...
