www.RCmushroom.com has aluminum motor mounts for a great price. Only thing is Shipping is around $34.00 (standard) if your buying lots of stuff, plus no taxes. Delivery is a about a week.

Could be the issue he is having with stripped spur gears ?

had another drive today, no problems with the new gear. mesh was fine. I think some sand/dirt might of got in the gears the first time out.

But i might buy some stuff from that website. need some foams to get the power down, keep spinning at full throttle. but managed around 80km/h today at 3/4 throttle

Your right, thts the F60 setup

If your looking for what was said, I can remember reading that the F60 rear wing with the stock front wing is the hot ticket if your rules allow it

Think it'd be good once a few parts are replaced? I dont think an alloy t-Plate is a good idea but for $80ish shipped i might actually get one as a starter F1

Default Hm

Would have been cooler if it was a fiberglass chassis then an aluminum one. If people really wanted a cheap F1, they could get a 3Racing F109 for $120 shipped from RC Mart.

well, 56 and 120 are 2 different targets. I can get a HPI Ften for 120 at my LHS or a F104 F60 for i belive 160.

cheers abailey. we have a weight rule and a soon to be inforced silvercan only rule so body and body parts are pretty much open. am not a very serious racer as such, just like my 104 looking f1 as possible as i try and navigate it around. the f60 looks the ticket

Hi guys,

do you guys attached fan near the motor to cool it down while racing??

I had an option to do so but wondering if that is necessary. If not, I might want to remove it to reduce some weight from the chassis..

Thanks in advance... cheers
