i think the lightweight body is ok. the regular body seems to last forever. the way tamiya makes the bumpers it allows the body to survive frontal impact, and the sides seem to never get damaged.

on my rubber tire f104 i run the stock fronts and the option rears. this works good for me and the other f1 guys at my track.
cheers for the reply. will any foam wheel fit? mate, love your avatar. mclaren rule

thanks! any foam wheel made for the f104 will fit, except i think the spice f1 front wheel, because it is narrower than the original f104 front wheel. i bought spice front foams and i had to cut about 1/4" of the wheel so it looked good.

Does anyone run a f104 pro on high traction asphalt? If so, how is your car set up? I cant seem to get my car to stop pushing on soft foam all around and fully sauced. Any tips?

Try not saucing the front tires, and only sauce half of the rear tires.

The problem is my car pushes like crazy and i have never had a problem spinning out yet the f103 are still a lap to 2 laps up pn me by the end of the race. We all run silver cans.

Start by saucing only half of the rear tires. If it still pushes stop saucing the rear tires. And if it still pushes rase the ride height.
