You can tape it in between the battery and servo.

I haven't tried the 103 front end yet. I don't see the need. You should of just bought a 104W as it comes with the 103 front.

The f103 front end gives the car more front track width, i suggest getting one as a tuning aid, and play with it, if you like it, i would recommend the 3racing f103 front, its a bit more durable and has the ability to adjust camber.

Ok, so I have been out of racing for about a year.

Have they figured out Rubber tires on Carpet yet?

Yeh, Pit Shimizu soft rear and Pit Shimizu #3 front for the F104.
Fastest drivers and cars had these today at the Ultimate F1 Winter Series Race, round #1 at TQ Raceway in Chino, CA.
These Pit Shimizu rubber tires mount on the Tamiya FOAM'S rims!!!!!!

check this link for pics, results and info on getting these tires from Sean at TQ Racing, he's the U.S. connection for the Pit Shimizu and Ride tires as well as many other of your racing needs.
Usually very well stocked, got run out of some cuz of this series starting up today. More said to arrive soon.

The Rides soft for the rear also work on the F104 I'm told but you still need the Shimizus #3 for the fronts.

Ride A compound front and rear for the F103 is the ticket although I ran TRG Superions (couldn't get a set of Rides today and didn't actually need em after all) on my F103 front and rear and it was very dialed for the whole 8 minutes of each of the 3 mains.
Had some very competitive lap times on those too.

I know you dont want to hear this, but you won't get $300 for it. You will be lucky to get $200 for it. It's just what the market will bear. I could almost put together a brand new 104 for $300. It may be in great shape, but it is used, the hop ups only run about $45 and the rims and tires dont really add any value to the car. I just picked up a used 104 with all the hop ups, essentially 2 cars, for $160 plus shipping. The car wasn't perfect, it was a bit rough in fact, but it was $160, so again, not tryin to be a jerk, just givin you an honest assessment.

Guys at my track are just as fast with non pro kits. Setup, tires and driving is all you need. Actually you will need TRF shock and the gear adapter so you have more of a wider range to choose from.

The pro chassis is very stiff carbon fiber, the non pro F60 kit is fiberglass and more flexible, probably an advantage on bumpy and loose surfaces.
That's why the hi traction t bar is so much help, thinner, cut out to add flex for more rear bite.
Some guys even cut the front half of the upper deck off just like the F103 top decks used to be.

I'm running on a rug. Myself and one other run a 104. The rest are 103, 109's and none have a carbon chassis/top deck. We are all dialed in. It just comes down to tires and driving. I run the soft t-plate.
